I had a great visit with political prisoner Jacob Goodwin yesterday at the Lonoke County jail. It was actually two visits, one by video phone and the second in a visitation room through plexiglass which was much better, for about a half hour altogether. He is in good spirits and wants to thank you all for your support and encouragement. In fact, like a true Viking, he is laughing and joking and content that he is where he is fated to be at the moment, and making the most of it. While in jail Jacob has recruited two new prospective members of the ShieldWall Network.
The rest of the day I spent with Jacob’s parents at their home with an NBC camera crew which is here for the weekend working on a documentary about Jacob’s ordeal as a political prisoner. I’ll be with them for the remainder…
