Reminder from a reader:
Just finished reading “Fry the Brain”. A very intriguing book that details the art and tradecraft of urban sniping. It traces the history and tactics from Stalingrad through the Troubles in Ireland, to the Mideast. He also discusses counter-forensics and modern counter-sniper detection. I’m no sniper and cannot comment on the accuracy (heh) of this material, but at the very least it gives a historical framework so you don’t waste time and lives making old mistakes. It also gives an extensive bibliography for further study.
As they say, this material will be on the test.
NB: There will be no curve on that final exam.
